Evgeni hails from Dupnitsa and studied at Deaf school in Plovdiv. He now lives in Sofia, where he is pursuing his goals. He enjoys communicating in sign language, as it is the natural way for him to interact with his friends. He often observes passers often watch their conversations with interest and would be thrilled if more people learn sign language as well.

Hrisi is a dedicated advocate for Bulgarian Sign Language, rediscovering her purpose and passion within the Deaf community. She believes that through sign language, we can make the world more accessible and comprehensible for everyone. By promoting sign language and the contributions of Deaf individuals, she hopes to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of this unique form of communication.

Krasimirka and Jordan are part of a third-generation Deaf family, deeply immersed in Deaf culture and fluent in sign language. Their intimate understanding of the needs of Deaf individuals drives their commitment to the community. Krasimirka works with Deaf children in mainstream schools, where access to sign language is limited. Her goal is to provide these children with valuable information on a range of topics and demonstrate that Deaf individuals can achieve success on par with their hearing peers. Their children, Ivo and Dancho, are also driven by their own aspirations. They aim to set an example of active, successful individuals and prove that Deaf people can overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Lara lives in Svishtov and will be entering the 10th grade in the fall of 2024. She is Deaf who uses a cochlear implant. Both of her parents are also Deaf. Lara takes pride in her identity and she believes that Deaf individuals can achieve their dreams. She enjoys making new friends, traveling, and, most of all, having fun with other Deaf people.

Christiana is 23 years old. She enjoys drawing, nature walks, and meeting new people. As a member of the Deaf community, which is rich with inspiring and supportive individuals, she finds opportunities for self-expression and friendship with those who understand and support her.

"I initially thought I couldn't make this film because I'm not Deaf; it should be done by someone who is. But I wondered when that might actually happen. I realized there was no need to wait to address this important subject. I began researching and discovered that I was passionate about creating it. If I was going to undertake this project, it needed to come from the heart, with full consideration and respect."

Ned's first thought when he stepped onto the field was, 'Why haven’t I learned sign language?' He was eager to connect with Gabi and they both made efforts to communicate. His curiosity and dedication enabled him to focus on the character's story and make the most authentic cinematic choices.

Krista's creative costume choices are the pinnacle of the character-building process. Her profound interest in the conceptual aspects of design ensured that every pattern, texture, and color detail perfectly complemented the characters.
